Every one of these tickets comes with a Voucher for a Calcium Score heart scan (normal cost around $400) from Baptist Health in Cayman, also known as a “coronary calcium scan” or “cardiac CT for calcium scoring.” This is a non-invasive test that helps doctors detect a person’s risk of heart disease or a cardiac event, such as a heart attack or stroke, over the next five to ten years. Note: this does require a referral from your GP but we can assist in organising that. It is typically most advised in individuals aged 40-65 years and where there are one or more risk factors. If you do not wish to take up the Calcium Score Voucher personally, it can be donated to the pool available through the Cayman Heart Foundation for those who don’t typically have access.
